Process Description:

Intake:

  • Open intake with dike

Discharge:

  • Submerged brine not included in the project

Pre-treatment:

  • Ballasted decanter
  • Single-media closed filters
  • Cartridge filters
  • Antiscalant dosage, 1st and 2nd pass
  • Hypochlorite/sodium bisulfite shock dosage
  • Coagulant dosage
  • Sulfuric acid dosage
  • Polyelectrolyte dosage
  • 2nd Pass sodium hydroxide dosage

RO process:

  • 3 racks of 8.000 m3/day with 2nd partial pass
  • 5 racks of 8.400 m3/day with 2nd partial pass (future)

Energy recovery:

  • Isobaric exchanger

Post-treatment:

  • Inline CO2 dosage
  • Lime milk media layer
  • Sodium hypochlorite dosage
