One major issue that our world faces is the limited resources of our planet as well as the responsibility and efforts that every one shall assume to preserve them.
With this intention in mind, we have created a technical department focused on all water management aspects: production of fresh water, transportation, storage and distribution. Our team is prepared for developing all types of projects related to environmental water and flooding.
AREAS OF ACTIVITIES:
TRIARENA & UNIVERSIDAD de SEVILLA
Triarena and the Universidad de Sevilla have joined together to carry out research for Triarena´s desalination plant project in Al Khafji in Saudi Arabia. The research concerns energy modeling to predict building performance according to the climate for the desalination plant building in Al Khafji. This includes the development of the expert analysis as well as a feasibility assessment of a solution
One of our main goals is to become a world leader in the desalination process based on reversible osmosis (RO). This objective will be achieved with our partners IASUR and PYCSA who have gained and acquired experience in this field in Spain and abroad. The targeted geographic area is the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. To reinforce our capacity in this part of the world, we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Saudi technological company Taqnia. This alliance aims to become a world leader company in seawater desalination for water supply and agriculture.
Water Management
As a new company founded in the XXI century, we assume the main challenges of the century: to provide water to all humanity in sustainable conditions - meaning environmental care and minimum energy consumptions. Our technical department focuses on all water management aspects: production of fresh water, transportation, storage and distribution. Our engineers are in charge of analyzing, advancing and solving all kind of environmental projects concerning water and flooding.
Solar Energy
As a modern 21st century company, Triarena´s objective is to build a better world for future generations by preserving and improving the environment. Therefore we decided to take a serious bet on developing renewable energies and managing integrated water.
In the field of renewable energies, we are concentrating on solar energy –both thermal and photovoltaic – which is undergoing a considerable evolution in the MENA area, our main zone of activities.
We are partnering with the leading Spanish companies in the solar energy sector. Together, we cover all the different phases of a solar plant project: design, supervision of the process, supply management, construction, operation and maintenance.
Our research and development project consists of a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant driven by photovoltaic solar energy with a capacity of production of 30.000m3 per day. We are currently developing one of these desalination plants with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) in Saudi Arabia.
